Well, it is almost here–that very special day of the year that we celebrate the birth of the Baby born in Bethlehem. And I am so ready. My family will all be here, If the Lord wills, and there will be lots of love, laughter, and food. My, oh my, the food. Sonya has prepared a menu that would delight Kings and Presidents–and everyone of us in the family. We are blessed.
But before we get to Christmas, there are still a few things left to do. I am going to teach my Bible Study group. I only hope these dear friends are receiving half the blessing that I am. Then we start praying. Actually I have already spent a good deal of time praying through the night for those in the path of the storms. I will admit that I have some selfish motivation since this includes my children. Not only are they in the path of the storm, but also they are supposed to be traveling to Decatur this evening for Christmas. So please join me as we pray for safety for ALL who are traveling on this very busy day.
God bless you, and Merry Christmas!
